View answerThe total cost of the Moran Inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the receipt, distribution and sale of tickets for the Rio Olympic Games and ancillary matters amounted to €312,765. I consider the expenditure to be value for money given (I) the important insights provided in the Inquiry Report and (ii) the demonstrable, clear and considerable improvements associated with the Inquiry and the Report.
