455. Deputy Catherine Martin asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to secure the provision of a school warden for a school (details supplied) for the safety of schoolchildren crossing Luas green line at Windy Arbour Luas station as the Luas track is not within the remit of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I share the concerns of the Deputy regarding this issue and in my capacity as a public representative for the area, I have brought the matter directly to the attention of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), in whose responsibility it lies.

As it is however a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland, I have now also forwarded the Deputy's question to them for direct reply. Please contact my office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.

A referred reply was forwarded to the Deputy under Standing Order 42A.
