75. Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if his attention has been drawn to the internal Garda review into the Jobstown protest investigation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51743/17]
View answerI am informed by the Garda Commissioner that, following the completion of criminal proceedings flowing from the incident referred to, and public commentary in relation to members of An Garda Síochána who were involved in the policing of same, an Assistant Commissioner was tasked with conducting a review of the policing of the event. The final report from the Assistant Commissioner has now been finalised and is currently being considered by the Commissioner.
