538. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when the beef forum is due to meet next; and the number of meetings to date since the forum was established in tabular form. [53638/17]
View answerThe Beef Roundtable was established in April 2014 in order to bring all the relevant stakeholders together and to facilitate open discussion between industry and farming organisations on the strategic path for the beef sector over the coming years. The forum has been held on ten occasions, the last being held on the 12th July 2017. I will be holding the next meeting of the Roundtable in early 2018.
