1095. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to correspondence (details supplied) that was circulated to Ministers and Members of Dáil Éireann; his plans to raise the issue with the HSE; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1933/18]

A key principle of the Protected Disclosure Act 2014 is that the identity of the person making such a disclosure should be protected as far as possible. On that basis, it would be inappropriate for me to comment on this case. I can confirm, however, that all protected disclosures are dealt with in accordance with agreed Departmental guidelines and every effort is made to maintain the person's anonymity.
