Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Education and Skills when tenders will be invited for a project (details supplied); the closing date for receipt of tenders; if they have been invited; when construction of the new school is likely to commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The school building project to which the Deputy refers is currently at advanced architectural planning stage. It is anticipated that tenders for the school will be invited in Q1 2018 with construction anticipated to commence in Q2 2018.
