541. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport when the upgrade and or replacement of next stop announcements on DART services will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5739/18]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure and services in the Greater Dublin Area.
In light of the NTA's responsibility in this area, I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for an update on the issue raised. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
