255. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport when the promised directional signs for Nenagh hospital on the motorway bypassing Nenagh will be erected; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6179/18]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. The planning, design and maintenance of individual roads, including the installation of road signs, is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland under the Roads Acts 1993-2015 in conjunction with the local authorities concerned.
