Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Education and Skills if the emergency works application by a school (details supplied) will be examined; if a decision will be expedited on this application in view of the urgent nature of the works required; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An emergency works application was recently received from the school referred to by the Deputy. The application will be considered as quickly as possible and the school authority will be informed of the outcome.
