Deputy Imelda Munster asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department will review the matter of taxsaver passes for public transport in view of the delays and overcrowding on the Luas line; if taxsaver tickets for rail services can be transferred for use on Bus Éireann as an interim measure until the delays and overcrowding issues on the Luas are resolved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with Dublin Bus and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
