83. Deputy Stephen S. Donnelly asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a school (details supplied) has not received confirmation that it will have the necessary space to hold all new students for the coming school term; the contingency plans in place if this occurs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Patron has advised my Department that the school in question has recently corresponded with parents offering junior infant enrolment places in September 2018. I understand that the Patron has also provided update directly to the Deputy during a meeting last week.
