103. Deputy Kevin O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Skills his plans to ensure that works recommence to complete an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Cork in order to provide critically needed additional accommodation for staff and pupils; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the contractor has been placed in examinership; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am aware that the contractor for the project in question has entered into Examinership.

The project has been devolved for delivery to the local Education and Training Board (ETB). 

Officials in my Department are working with the ETB and the contractor to ensure that the project is completed as quickly as possible.
