Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the status of proposals to create a coastal touring route along the south eastern seaboard; if a decision has been made by Fáilte Ireland on the naming or branding of this proposition; and if the process will be open to submissions from interested parties in due course. I am very supportive of efforts to develop this route and I have referred the Deputy's question to Fáilte Ireland and asked them to provide him with further information and reply directly to him.
