Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of serious injuries suffered by cyclists in each of the past five years and to date in 2018; the principal causes of such serious injuries; and the steps he is taking to ensure the number of serious injuries is reduced.
