252. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the person or body that owns an island (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [24012/18]

Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht

The island in question is not owned by my Department. It is a privately owned Nature Reserve and is designated as a Nature Reserve under Statutory Instrument 110/198 (Nature Reserve) Recognition Order, 1989.
