Deputy Eamon Scanlon asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the response to the clerical officer competition on publicjobs.ie earlier in 2018; the number of positions filled from the panel; the position of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware, The Public Appointments Service (PAS) is an independent statutory recruitment body for the Civil Service and they have advised me that they do not comment on individual cases to third parties. Each application is treated as strictly confidential.
