168. Deputy Colm Brophy asked the Minister for Finance if his Department has identified laws which are dependent on or in place as a consequence of Article 41.2 of the Constitution; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30100/18]
View answerAs the Deputy is probably aware of, a constitutional referendum has been proposed to amend or repeal Article 41.2 of the Constitution. In this context, the Department of Finance is engaged in an ongoing review of legislation for which it is responsible in order to identify any such laws which are dependant on Article 41.2. To date, no such laws have been identified.
