Deputy Micheál Martin asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of freedom of information requests his Department has received since January 2018; the number of refusals; the number that have been appealed and that are ongoing; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that for the period 1 January 2018 up to and including 30 June 2018, my Department has received 442 Freedom of Information requests.

The breakdown is provided in the table below.
