View answerThe provision of panic buttons or personal alarms is not a matter for my Department. I understand that Pobal, funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development, provides personal alarms for people over 65 years and older through the Seniors Alert Scheme. No such scheme is in operation for the under 65's.
