Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government if the impact on proposed dune conservation works at Portrane Beach, The Burrow, Portrane County Dublin of a planning application under section 3 of the Foreshore Act 1933 for a pre-installation survey, site investigation and installation of a sub-sea fibre optic cable at Portrane Beach has been taken into account; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The possible impacts on proposed dune conservation works at Portrane Beach, The Burrow, Portrane, County Dublin by the activities proposed under the application will be examined as part of the technical assessment process for applications for consent under the Foreshore Act 1933 (as amended).
