333. Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 648 of 17 April 2018 to outline the reason a person (details supplied) has no transport provided while capacity on the bus allows. [31643/18]

As the Deputy will be aware, I raised this issue with the HSE for investigation and I understand that a reply has now issued. Under the Health Act 2004, the HSE is required to manage and deliver, or arrange to be delivered on its behalf, health and personal social services, including such services to people with disabilities. As you will be aware, I am prohibited by law from directing the HSE as regards the provision of treatment of a health and personal social service to an individual. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide further assistance.
