Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of an appeal by a person (details supplied); if an oral hearing will be held in this case as soon as possible in order to discuss the specific circumstances which led to the initial penalty; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Agriculture Appeals Office has confirmed that an appeal was received from the person concerned relating to their 2017 BPS application. The Appeals Office has advised that the Appeals Officer has arranged an oral hearing for next week.
