565. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of applications received for the hen harrier scheme by county; the number of approved applications; and the number of farmers that have withdrawn from the scheme. [31976/18]
View answerThe Hen Harrier Programme has received 1,754 applications, as detailed in the table below. 1,530 of those are valid applications and 695 people have been offered contracts to date. Offers will continue to be made every month. No farmer has withdrawn from the scheme.
