Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of RSA officers operating in counties Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Mayo, Galway and Roscommon who are tasked with specifically tackling unlicensed road transport operators; the number of investigations undertaken and convictions obtained with regard to unlicensed road transport operations in the north west; the efforts made in this region to combat unlicensed road hauliers and the customers who obtain their services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
