475. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of persons living in Northern Ireland who have been successful in obtaining Irish naturalisation in each of the past five years in tabular form. [36012/18]
View answerI am informed by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) of my Department that statistics are not compiled in such a manner as to identify applicants for a certificate of naturalisation by place of residence. However, officials are currently working on compiling the information requested and I will be in touch with the Deputy as soon as this task has been completed.
