Deputy Tom Neville asked the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if officials from the National Parks and Wildlife Service will meet with fishermen to discuss the seal population at a location (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. With regard to the Deputy's request on behalf of the fishermen in County Kerry and for a meeting with the NPWS officials of my Department, I have instructed my regional staff in the area to contact the group in question directly.
