Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will facilitate and support the school management of a school (details supplied) in providing a number of car parking spaces on land that the school management has negotiated from the landowner free of charge; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The school to which the Deputy refers has been advised that the works in question can be applied for under a future Summer Works Scheme. The school has also been informed that if it has identified works that require immediate attention for health and safety reasons, it may submit an Emergency Works Application for these works only for consideration.
