Coillte was established as a private commercial company under the Forestry Act, 1988 and day-to-day operational matters, such as its policy in relation to the usage of pesticides, are the responsibility of the company.

I have referred the Deputy’s question to Coillte and have requested that a response issue to you within 10 days.
