Deputy Jack Chambers asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the disruption caused to rail passengers by the recent changes (details supplied) on the Maynooth to Dublin city line; the reason the changes were made; the engagement that occurred with rail passengers prior to the changes; the steps being taken to address the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with Iarnród Éireann and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
