606. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government his views on a matter (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46525/18]
View answerThe broad programme of social housing delivery being undertaken by local authorities includes a limited number of challenging projects to meet specific and often unique needs relating to family and other personal circumstances. In such difficult and specific projects, notwithstanding efforts to contain costs, higher level of costs can arise, which are considerably above the level of costs ordinarily encountered for new social housing delivery.
