195. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of an application for illness benefit by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [47489/18]

Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection

The Illness Benefit claim is now paid up to date and certified to 31st January 2019, regular payments will issue on a weekly basis to that date.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
