271. Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if the pre-qualification report for a school (details supplied) has been received; if the report has been approved; if tenders have been invited from the shortlist of contractors; if so, the closing date for receipt of tenders for the project; when construction will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The project to which the Deputy refers has been devolved to the local Education and Training Board. The pre-qualification process for the project is currently being finalised. My Department expects the project to proceed to tender immediately following the completion of this process.
