View answerThe purpose of Rent Supplement is to assist with reasonable accommodation costs of eligible persons living in private rented accommodation, where they are unable to provide for their accommodation costs from their own resources and do not have accommodation available to them from any other source.
The rent supplement application in the case of the person concerned has been processed and awarded with effect from 1/6/2018. All arrears due will be included in the first payment which will issue to the person concerned on 29/11/2018
