Deputy Michael Harty asked the Minister for Health his plans to appoint an independent expert to examine claims contained in new documentation given to him regarding missing blood samples that were taken for an investigation (details supplied); if the independent expert will also advise if a public inquiry is warranted; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
