Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the amount of current and capital funding allocated to the Charities Regulatory Authority in each of the years 2014 to 2018, in tabular form; the 2019 allocation; and the amount expended in each year to date. The Charities Regulator was established on October 14, 2014. Audited financial statements for the first period were produced for the 14 months to December 2015, in accordance with Section 30(2) of the Charities Act 2009. Annual financial statements were produced thereafter. The accounts for 2018 are not yet available.
