Each Educational Training Board (ETB) receives a Teaching staffing allocation from my Department and it is the responsibility of each ETB to the recruit and manage staffing levels within this allocation. Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB) have informed officials from my Department that they have commenced the process to appoint a principal to the new Gaelcholáiste in Maynooth and they expect that the advertisement for the post will be published shortly.

In relation to securing suitable accommodation, KWETB is engaging with officials of my Department to identify suitable accommodation in Maynooth to allow the new Gaelcholáiste to welcome first-year students in September 2019.
