Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the number of expressions of interest to tender for the remediation of Kerdiffstown landfill, Naas, County Kildare received by Kildare County Council by the closing date of 31 January 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that Kildare County Council has extended the deadline for submission of expressions of interest to tender to 14 February 2019. The extension was granted on foot of requests for more time made on the eTenders procurement website.
