Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Finance the amount spent in advertising and-or sponsorship in respect of conferences, external and internal, respectively, in each of the years 2017, 2018 and to date in 2019, by conference; the aggregate amount for each year; the amount available in the remainder of 2019 to fund same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerMy Department has incurred no spending in advertising and or sponsorship in respect of conferences external and internal, in each of the years 2017 and 2018, and to date in 2019.
With regard to the amount available in the remainder of 2019 to fund same, my Department has not made a specific allocation for advertising and or sponsorship in respect of conferences, however we expect spend to be in line with previous years.
