View answerThe list of investment items under TAMs was compiled at the commencement of the Rural Development Programme which was subsequently approved by the European Commission. The type of equipment mentioned is not included in the list of available items. Requests for the inclusion of additional investment items are subject to full evaluation and consideration but additional items can only be included in the context of the overall budgetary position which is being closely monitored.
On farm investment policy is included in the CAP negotiations currently under way and any future schemes will be dependent on the outcome of these negotiations.
