391. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of a funding application by a school (details supplied); if a decision will be expedited; the timeframe involved for consideration and approval of the extra costs submitted which arose from the planning process; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that the school referred to, by the Deputy, has submitted an application to my Department for additional capital funding.

The application is being considered and a decision will be conveyed to the school authority as soon as the assessment process has been completed.
