584. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if the Judicial Council Bill 2017 will be moved in Seanad Éireann in March 2019; if not, when he expects to move the Bill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14235/19]
View answerThe Deputy will be aware that the Judicial Council Bill 2017 is currently awaiting Committee Stage in Seanad Éireann. It is envisaged that Committee Stage will be taken before the end of the current session and the objective is to secure enactment of the Bill during the course of this year.
