Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the number of homes upgraded as part of smart technology energy saving scheme since its launch in 2016; the number of local authorities that have taken part in the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Smart Technology Energy Saving Scheme is an initiative of Electric Ireland. As such, my Department does not compile data on the number of local authorities or the number of homes that have taken part in the scheme.
