Questions (422)

Clare Daly

Question:

422. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the procedures in place for Tusla regarding investigations of companies and agencies used by the courts to supervise children in court orders in relation to their non-compliance with the Children First Act 2015, with particular reference to the reason the list of non-compliant organisations is not publicly accessible; the further reason there is no sanction in place to publish the details of non-compliant organisations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Written answers

I can advise the Deputy that Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, is the appropriate body to investigate the non-compliance of a provider of a relevant service under the Children First Act 2015. I have, therefore, written to Tusla and asked them to revert to the Deputy directly.
