486. Deputy Seán Haughey asked the Minister for Health the number of times he has formally met with the chief executive officer and-or chairperson of a company (details supplied) in 2018 and to date in 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28159/19]
View answerThe Minister for Health did not meet with either person in 2018 or 2019. The Vhi Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer meet regularly with Department of Health officials to ensure the Minister is kept updated on important matters relating to the Vhi, and quarterly meetings are held to discuss governance issues.
