Written answers (Question to Health)

Asbestosis is a chronic lung condition caused by prolonged exposure to asbestos and patients with this condition have access to the same range of diagnostic and treatment services provided in the public health system as other patients with chronic lung conditions.

In relation to the arrangements in place for post-mortem, this is a matter for the HSE and, accordingly, I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy.
