856. Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government the number, location and status of social housing projects in County Galway as part of the Rebuilding Ireland programme; the number of social homes delivered in the county since the beginning of the plan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department publishes status reports on a quarterly basis, which list all social housing construction schemes for all local authority areas, including Galway County Council.  The most recent of these reports covers the period up to the end of March 2019, and contains information on the progress of over 20,300 new social housing homes nationally, which are currently approved and progressing through planning, design and construction, as well as homes delivered to end March 2019.  The report is available on the Rebuilding Ireland website at the following link:
