Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 216 of 5 February 2019, if approval has issued for the provision of additional mainstream and specialist accommodation for the school in question; the details of the accommodation approved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department has received an application from the school in question for additional school accommodation. The application is currently under assessment and once this has been completed, the school authority will be informed of the outcome directly.
