892. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of a disability allowance for a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [30469/19]
View answerThe lady referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 28 February 2019. Payment will issue to her nominated bank account on 25 July 2019. Any arrears due from 28 February 2019 to 24 July 2019 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue as soon as possible. The lady in question was notified of this decision on 09 July 2019.
