Deputy Joan Collins asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if Tusla social workers are instructed to inform foster parents who may wish to adopt a child in their care that the category of pre-adoptive care is a legal barrier under the Adoption Act 2010 to them applying to be assessed to adopt their foster child in the best interest of the child.
