Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 219 of 9 July 2019, if phase 1 of the project will be completed in time to enable the school to move into the new building from its temporary building for the opening of the new school year in September 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe school building project to which the Deputy refers is currently on site.
The first phase, consisting of the construction of the new 8 classroom school is due for completion in Quarter 4 2019. The temporary accommodation currently occupied by the school will be available until the first phase is complete.
My Department will continue provide updates to the Board of Management on the progress of the building project.
